What if i’m buying the bike from somewhere else?
Whilst we offer free fit assessments for all Giant, Orbea, and Orro bikes, we happily work with all bike brands including Trek, Specialized, Canyon, Cannondale, 3T, Argon, Cervelo, Kuota, Colnago, Enigma and many more.
Will this work for a frame-build?
Yes! We regularly work with frame builders and can supply complete geometry charts set up to the riding position of your choice.
What if I’m not sure what bike I want?
We’re here to help you through the process of buying a new bike from start to finish. If you’re not sure what bike is best for you, we can help advise on bike geometry, setup, comfort and find the right bike for your body and cycling goals.
I already have my new bike but I want it set up to my measurements - “Bike Setup”
No problem, we can transfer your measurements across to your new bike. Simply add ‘Bike Setup’ to your purchase of this item and we’ll allow time at the end of your appointment to translate the geometry chart into meaningful adjustments to your new bike. Most commonly we set up bar position, shifter position, saddle height, and saddle position.
*please note that this option does not address any injuries, issues, goals, functional assessment, or cleat setup/positioning. Our standard bike fit may be more suitable for you.
Why don’t you offer problem solving with the New Bike Sizing and Setup?
We make sure that we do everything thoroughly at Cardiff Bike Fit; whilst setting up your bike to a set of accurate measurements may help specific issues, we just don’t have the time in these shorter appointments to provide you with our full problem solving expertise. The New Bike Sizing and Setup is a bike fitting option designed to help customers to buy or build the right size bike. If you have specific issues such as pain, discomfort, or injury rehab, we offer the Complete and Advanced sessions.
